Prayer for August 29th, 2010

Good morning, Lord--it's so good to see Your face again! Maker of heaven and Earth--the whole world is full of Your glory! We're continuing our sermon series on 24 hours with God and this morning we'll be talking about spending the day with God. We ask Your blessing on Pastor Gene as he brings us the message. We pray, Father, that this sermon series will open minds and hearts to the fact that You go with us wherever we go. Help us, Ftaher, to live in such a way that the world sees Christ in us. The good news is, Father, that when we ask You into our heart, whatever we've done in our past is forgiven, forgotten and we are reborn. Help us, Father, to live out our faith--as a person and as a church. For this is the only way our church can grow. By living out Your love we can BE the Church to a hurting, dying world. Help us to love as You love, Father, within our family, our school, our workplace, our country. You have called us to be Ambassadors for You so let us be faithful in our calling because, the world "will know we're Christians by our love." In Jesus name we pray and cling--AMEN
